Raised in Northern Baltimore County, an only child to a single mother, education was always a priority in the household. Books, both fiction and non, posters with math equations and various science experiments, decorated his childhood room. This instilled passion for learning extended throughout his school days leading him to attend the University of Maryland, College Park. In order to pay for college, Kariem became a Real Estate Agent and witnessed first hand how many businesses defaulted on account of their lack of tax knowledge.
