Enjoy a leisurely ~3mile/~2 hour walking tour around the beautiful village and coast of La Jolla. You will learn the history and culture of La Jolla, including: - why is everything within a 20 mile radius named after Ellen Scripps? - fun facts about residents both famous and infamous - how to discern sea lions from seals - what types of birds are hatching and where - Coast Walk — older than the pyramids! - Green Dragon Colony — who knew?! - what’s the deal with the secret swings? - Numerous La Jolla “Easter Eggs” All this in addition to providing restaurant recommendations and activity suggestions. You will definitely learn at least 5 new things, and have a blast doing so. This tour includes a bit of trail walking, and a total of about 45 stairs to climb (all downward).
