Mountain Bird Expeditions (MBE) is a "boutique" ecotourism experience focusing on birds and the natural history of the San Bernardino Mountains in Southern California. MBE is owned and operated by Jim Stone, a life-long nature enthusiast and author of Birds of Heaps Peak Arboretum. He has led natural history expeditions to a variety of locations including the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, Baja California, the Canadian Maritimes, and coastal New England. Jim lives in Lake Arrowhead, CA, the starting point of all MBE tours.
