Now just an overgrown ruin, this copper mine was once a thriving mine during World War I. After hiking for a short distance you will reach the remains of the copper mine. The trail is well maintained and on the way one will find several stone ruins scattered, mounds of decades-old copper tailing's, an original dam of 1900s, an amazing natural oxidized patina, and endless picturesque scenes and smell the proverbial roses up to the ruins. The best time to hike is between sunrise and sunset and do watch your step as the trail can become quite narrow in certain spots.
