Chicago Heritage Tours offers small-group walking tours led personally by Sally Sexton Kalmbach, a fourth-generation Chicagoan with more than 20 years of travel and historical expertise. Whether you're exploring the mansions and stories of the Gold Coast, discovering hidden gems at the Art Institute, walking through the Loop's iconic architecture, or uncovering the history behind Chicago's historic cemeteries, every tour is tailored to your interests. Sally is the author of two books on Chicago history — The Jewel of the Gold Coast and Mrs. Thorne's World of Miniatures — and serves on the board of the Chicago Chapter of the Society of Architectural Historians, so guests get far more than a standard tour guide: they get a true local expert who makes history feel accessible, personal, and fun. Custom lectures and presentations are also available for historical societies and community groups. Come see Chicago through the eyes of someone who's spent a lifetime uncovering its stories.
