The East Troy Electric Railroad had started in 1907 and ever since then, the 7 mile (11.26 kilometer) run of the rail lines features round trip excursions from 3 different points in the area of East Troy. The historic depot, the open cars, locomotives, coaches, rail roads and museum depicting the history and providing tours are all part of the East Troy Railroad Museum. Open from April through November during weekends, the tour timings vary depending on the tour origin which could either be from East Troy Depot, Indianhead Park or Elegant Farmer Depot.
