Similar to the more well-known neighborhood in Manhattan, this quaint district in Detroit also showcases beautiful residential homes. It's located east of downtown in between Kercheval and Jefferson Avenues and Seyburn and Seminole Streets. The West Village presents architectural styles which include Queen Anne, Colonial Revival and since this is the Midwest, there are also some great examples of Prairie School homes. Since it's mostly residential, it is a hidden neighborhood that allows for tranquil walks, a leisurely bike ride or architecture students to gain inspiration.
