Visit McKinney is the first stop for most visitors to our community and we love sharing our town with them! We strive to help visitors have the best possible experience while here by providing a variety of printed information and in-person interaction with visitors in our McKinney Visitors Center, via our website and our various social media avenues (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, blog, and more). We also work with groups to support events held here through securing hotel room blocks, providing goody bags and literature for attendees, and matching event organizers' needs with service providers and vendors who can help make the events successful. We also work to bring travel writers and television and movie crews so they can take the stories and images of our community out to a wide audience! The MCVB is an entity within the city government, run by a 7-member board appointed by the City Council. We are funded by a percentage of the city's collected lodging tax.
