Established in 1980, Independent Dispatch is a freight forwarder and contract motor carrier. Independent Dispatch invests in people, equipment and technology to handle demanding transportation needs in North America. Whether the shipment is large or small, simple or complex, the company takes full responsibility for getting loads to their destinations reliably and on time. Since the company assumes responsibility, it is not a freight broker. The company specializes in intermodal transportation throughout North America, long haul truck transportation throughout the United States and regional trucking throughout the Northwest. Independent Dispatch is located in Portland.
At SAFE Transportation, we specialize in providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation for individuals with special needs. For over 20 years, our focus has been supporting students and at-risk populations with care and professionalism that goes beyond a ride. What sets us apart is our commitment to dignity, safety, and individualized support. While our history is rooted in special needs student transportation, our future includes expanding into ambulance services to continue serving those most in need.
