- Alabama basketball forward out for South Carolina game with injury
Alabama basketball forward Mo Wague was out for the South Carolina game because of a foot injury, per a UA spokesperson.
Wague was seen in a medical boot on his right foot. The Crimson Tide beat the Gamecocks 74-47 on Tuesday at Coleman Coliseum.

"He's kind of week to week," Alabama coach Nate Oats said postgame. "It's his right foot that he had the surgery on. It kind of flared up. We needed to rest him. He's been out of practice the last couple days, didn't play tonight. We'll see if we can get him right. We've got a day off tomorrow. We'll see what we can do by Saturday."
The surgery Oats referenced occurred during the summer after Wague transferred from West Virginia.
Wague has become a regular in Alabama's starting lineup this season. Over 14 games this season, he has averaged 12.9 minutes, 5.5 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 0.7 blocks, 1 steal, 2.9 fouls and 1.2 turnovers per game. He's second on the team in blocks per game behind Grant Nelson.
Alabama is already lacking solid front court depth, so the loss of the West Virginia transfer to an injury doesn't help that cause. Without Wague, Pringle got the start in his place and finished with 3 points, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks and 4 rebounds.

Alabama's next game will be against Mississippi State on Saturday in Starkville.
