'He will be 100%' Texas A&M HC Mike Elko confirms star running back's 2025 status

What has been a question hovering over Texas A&M's 2025 offseason, senior running back Le'Veon Moss's health took center stage hours after his season-ending knee injury during the Aggies' road loss to South Carolina, which aided in completely derailing the 2024 season, and putting immense pressure on starting quarterback Marcel Reed.

After recovering from his injury, the spring season saw Moss work out during various practice sessions, but he, along with several starters sat out of the Maroon & White spring game, which led to more question regarding his overall health. However, after stating that he was "100%" healthy on social media (X), head coach Mike Elko further confirmed the good news during the Brazos Country Coach's Night, elaborating on his progress that will contiue this summer.

"He will be 100% for sure for fall camp," Elko stated. "I think he is running. He is here (at A&M) now. He did not go home for a break. He is here continuing to work with our (physical therapy) department. When you go out there and you watch him run, he looks really good right now. We are excited with how that rehab process has gone."

After rushing for 765 yards and ten touchdowns, while averaging 6.3 yards per carry, Moss's vision, footwork, and second level burst made him one of the more feared backs in the SEC, and for the Aggies to reach their goals next season, the Louisiana native will need to to become a bell cow, but will finally have adequate depth behind him with Amari Daniels, Rueben Owens and E.J Smith healthy and ready contribute.
