Strengths
The physical traits Williams brings to the table are obvious, with a huge frame and ideal length and overall athleticism for the position. Those tools help him set the edge against the run, and also bring a measure of both speed and power to his pass-rushing game. He can stack and shed blockers in the run game with ease when he locks on early and controls the rep with his length and power, and he's got impressive lateral movement skills for his size, which help him adjust to ball-carriers in the backfield and also attack the quarterback from any direction, including inside stunts.

Weaknesses
Williams is still learning how to maximize his physical abilities with consistent technique and awareness. Too often, he lets opposing blockers get past his massive wingspan and into his chest, and that's not helped by his surprising lack of an elite first step off the ball. He's inconsistent with landing his hands at the point of attack, and still tries to win most of his pass-rushing reps with pure power and athletic ability rather than a polished rush plan that brings calculated initial moves and effective counters to the table.

Final Analysis
There's limitless upside here for Williams thanks to his combination of size, strength, and athletic ability, but he'll require some patience at the next level, as well as quality coaching if he wants to reach that lofty ceiling. Players with his physical profile aren't common, so it won't be surprising if NFL teams are willing to spend a high pick to get him in the building and work hard to refine his game and maximize his talents with the technical improvements he needs.
