The 2025 NFL Draft is right around the corner, and we've got you covered with in-depth scouting reports on all of the top prospects at every position in this year's class.
Here's everything you need to know about Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart heading into the 2025 draft:
Height:6-2
Weight:225
Age:21
Highly experienced with 41 career starts under his belt, Dart has above-average arm strength that's made more effective by his ability to adjust arm angles and get rid of the ball with a smooth, quick release. When he's able to operate with a clean pocket, Dart is a patient passer who knows how to change up his touch and velocity to deliver the right pass with reliable accuracy. An impressive overall athlete, Dart brings true dual-threat potential to the table with his ability to challenge opposing defenses as a runner, both on designed plays and when creating extra yardage when the passing options break down. He's a tough competitor who isn't afraid to stand tall in the face of incoming contact in order to deliver the ball downfield.
Dart's effectiveness as a passer takes a massive hit when things get ugly around him, as pressure and a degrading pocket can force him into poor mechanics, spotty accuracy, and bad decision-making. He seems to struggle with deciphering complex defensive schemes when forced to go through full-field reads, as post-snap changes that take away his initial target appear to leave him rattled. His lower-body mechanics are inconsistent, and will require improvement at the next level if he wants to maintain accuracy with his ball placement.

Dart has an impressive blend of physical tools, experience and toughness that will earn him plenty of fans in draft rooms across the NFL, but he'll have to improve his ability to navigate complex defensive looks and post-snap changes, as well as his mechanical consistency, if he wants to develop into a productive starter. An RPO-heavy scheme would accelerate his ability to make a big impact at the next level.
