Strengths
A versatile prospect with starting experience at multiple positions, Savaiinaea's time spent at tackle shines through in his polish as a pass protector. He's got impressive movement skills for someone with his massive frame, and his smooth footwork and short-area quickness allow him to handle even the most explosive interior defenders to keep them away from the quarterback or the ball-carrier. Savaiinaea also brings all the power you'd expect from a blocker of his size, holding his own against inside bull-rushes and consistently pushing the pile forward in the ground game. He's an extremely smart player who picks up complex pass-rushing games with ease, and knows how to attack various defensive alignments effectively.

Weaknesses
At his best in tight spaces, Savaiinaea can struggle when he's on the move and trying to line up and take out defenders in the open field and up at the second level. He still needs some technical improvements, as well, both in terms of bending at the waist instead of his knees and overreaching to make his blocks instead of making sure his top half and bottom half are on the same page. More consistency with his hands at the point of attack would also make him a more effective blocker.

Final Analysis
He needs to smooth out a few rough edges in his game, but if your favorite NFL team is looking for a big, powerful blocker with a strong blend of physical and mental traits, Savaiinaea checks those boxes. He won't be the best fit for every scheme at the next level, but his strength and smarts should make him a successful starter inside.
