The Bengals are alive in the middling AFC with Joe Flacco under center and reports have confirmed Joe Burrow is on track for a mid-December return.
Even without that positive Burrow injury news, the Bengals and Hendrickson's reworked contract, agreed upon before the season, didn't include a no-tag clause. The Bengals holding the leverage of a franchise tag going next offseason always made a trade highly unlikely.
