Joey Bosa and Baker Mayfield were involved in an incident in Sunday's Week 11 matchup between the Buffalo Bills and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers . Bosa was flagged for a low hit on Mayfield late in the fourth quarter, which could result in a potential punishment for the Bills star.
Both teams entered the contest having lost their previous games and were eager to get back to winning ways. In the end, however, it was the Bills who powered through to secure a 44-32 victory against the Bucs. Buffalo improved to 7-3 on the season, while Tampa fell to 6-4 after losing two straight.

Mayfield had another big game for the Bucs on Sunday, finishing with 16-of-28 completed passes for 173 yards, one touchdown and one interception. The two-time Pro Bowl quarterback also registered five carries for 39 yards and a rushing TD.
Mayfield found himself on the receiving end of an illegal hit by Bosa at the 1:57 mark of the fourth quarter. The Bucs QB threw an incomplete pass to wide receiver Emeka Egbuka . Bosa dove toward Mayfield as the latter released the ball. The five-time Pro Bowl DE made contact with Mayfield's knee, prompting a roughing the passer foul on Bosa. It resulted in a 15-yard penalty in favor of the Bucs.
Mayfield, however, was sacked on the next snap, which turned out to be the game-deciding play. The Bills took possession with 1:44 left and were able to run out the clock to seal the victory.
Bosa, though, could face a potential punishment for his actions here. Roughing the passer penalties are automatically reviewed by the league and could result in a fine for the former Defensive Rookie of the Year.
For context, Bosa has already been fined for roughing the passer multiple times in his career. His last incident was in 2023, when Bosa was part of the Los Angeles Chargers and was fined $16,391 for unnecessary roughness against the New York Jets . Moreover, the Bills star was also sanctioned $12,172 earlier this season for fighting against the Carolina Panthers .
Bosa has been fined seven times throughout his career, totaling $174,332 in fines.
