It seems that quarterback Bo Nix is a good luck charm for Colorado 's sports teams.
Nix and several of his Denver Broncos teammates watched the Denver Nuggets defeat the Las Angeles Lakers 131-126 on Friday night. Two days later, Nix and Co. were in attendance to watch the Colorado Avalanche beat the Dallas Stars with a 4-3 overtime victory .
Nix was joined by his wife, Izzie, guard/center Nick Gargiulo and offensive tackle Frank Crum.
Nix, of course, took time to sign footballs for fans in attendance:
The QB was pumped up after Colorado's game winner:
Nix admitted after the Broncos drafted him last April that he didn't know much about hockey but he was eager to embrace and support the local NHL club.
"I know the Avalanche are really good, I hear," Nix said last year. "I'm not necessarily a huge hockey fan, but I'll watch a game — or match. I don't even technically know what it's called… I'm excited to just embrace it all."
Nix and Co. are 2-0 watching the local teams this offseason. Perhaps the Colorado Rockies and Colorado Rapids are on the schedule next.
