Carlos Alcaraz and Coco Gauff both just scored a victory at the French Open this year—and their trophies weren't the only pieces worth showing off.
The Spaniard and the American each rocked a Rolex watch during the award ceremonies at Roland Garros Stadium in Paris, France, yesterday, Hodinkee reported . The tennis stars, who snagged wins on the court's famed red clay, chose stunning timepieces that were worthy of the event.

Alcaraz donned a new timepiece from the Crown, one that made its debut at Watches and Wonders this year. The victor wore a Rolex Daytona Cosmograph with a striking blue lacquer dial, which retails for a cool $36,400. Ref. 126518LN is done up in 18-carat yellow gold with an Oysterflex bracelet. The Spanish star has long donned an iteration of the Daytona to celebrate his Grand Slam wins, according to Hodinkee. He wore Ref. 116518LN-0076, with a meteorite dial , for his 2024 French Open victory and both of his successes at Wimbledon, while he chose to rock Ref. 116500LN , with a black dial, to accept the U.S. Open trophy back in 2022.
Gauff—the first American to snag a win at the French Open since Serena Williams—chose to wear a discontinued model while accepting her award. To celebrate the victory, Gauff donned an Oyster Perpetual "Red Grape" —which just so happens to be the same timepiece she sported when she won the U.S. Open back in 2023. The Ref. 116000 is likely the 36 mm version and powered by the 3000 series movement; plus, that exact dial hue hasn't been available in more than a decade.
The two runners-up also had equally stunning wrist candy. Jannik Sinner chose to wear a Rolex Cosmograph Daytona in 18-carat Everose gold, according to Hodinkee. The Italian tennis player and Alcaraz ended up playing in the second-longest Grand Slam final ever, clocking in at five hours and twenty-nine minutes of fantastic play on both sides. Aryna Sabalenka, meanwhile, donned an Audemars Piaget Royal Oak with a bright turquoise dial. The Belarusian is currently an AP brand ambassador and has worn other watches from AP recently, like the limited-edition 50th anniversary Royal Oak Selfwinding Flying Tourbillon.
And with Wimbledon coming up in just a few short weeks on June 24, we may see more stellar timepieces on the court yet.
