A kid from Akron is returning to Cleveland — just not that one.
Larry Nance Jr. , a Revere High School graduate, is signing with the Cavaliers , a league source confirmed to the Beacon Journal.
Nance, 32, played with the Cavs over four seasons beginning in 2021. Last year, he appeared in 24 games for the Atlanta Hawks , averaging 8.5 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 51.6% from the floor.

Nance offers the Cavs some additional depth in the paint. Because of Cleveland's standing in the second apron , its flexibility is limited this summer barring some significant trades.
Nance is the oldest son of Cavs legend Larry Nance Sr.
