Dembélé only the tenth: These legends have won all three major trophies
Ousmane Dembélé has won the Ballon d'Or. Although the award has faced repeated criticism in recent years, it remains the greatest individual honor a player can receive. Of course, this is also because only one player can win it each year.

The same applies in club football for the Champions League. Everything simply has to come together perfectly for a team to be able to lift the trophy at the end of the season. However, the highest prize in football is still the World Cup. It only takes place every four years, the tournament is always full of surprises, and a single mistake can be enough to shatter the dream.
So, it really is the ultimate achievement when a player wins the Ballon d'Or, the Champions League, and the World Cup (or their equivalents at the time). With his award, Ousmane Dembélé has now become only the tenth player in history to be granted this honor.
