The Denver Broncos selected Utah tight end Caleb Lohnerwith the 241st overall pick in the seventh round of the 2025 NFL draft on Saturday afternoon.
Lohner (6-8, 234 pounds) was a two-sport player in college, playing basketball for the BYU Cougars, Baylor Bears and Utah Utes. Caleb's only year playing football was at the University of Utah in 2024. Lohner caught only four passes for 54 yards, but the four receptions each went for touchdowns. He also caught a two-point conversion for the Utes.
Lohner is the final selection for a Broncos ' class that saw Denver draft a star cornerback with their first pick, two offensive weapons on Day 2, bolster their defensive line and edge in the middle rounds, and address the special teams unit in the final rounds.
The Broncos have rounded out their team nicely. Now we wait for Denver's undrafted free agents to round out their 90-man roster ahead of rookie minicamp and training camp in late summer.
