The Philadelphia Eagles are in a delicate situation with A.J. Brown. The veteran wide receiver has not been shy about voicing his discontent with his lack of targets this season. It appears his tactics worked so well that they drew the attention of Philadelphia's owner.

Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie met with Brown for a 10-minute meeting during practice this week, per ESPN's Sal Paolantonio. Lurie sought to hash out Brown's public frustrations with his role in Philly's offense.
The meeting itself was reportedly set up by Eagles security Chiefs Dom "Big Dom" DiSandro.
Brown reportedly promised Lurie that he would stop complaining on social media, per one team official. However, Brown also told Lurie that he "just wants to be a part of the offense" and is frustrated about the situation.
Lurie told Brown that he didn't need to apologize. The meeting concluded with a hug and then Brown returned to practice.

Sources told Paolantonio that it was the first time any of them could remember "Big Dom" setting up a meeting between Lurie and a player. DiSandro has a long history with the Eagles and often attends private dinners between Lurie and players.

This meeting came shortly after Brown explained more about his frustrations with Philly's offense earlier this week.
Brown explained that he is both frustrated with his situation and wants to ensure that the Eagles are set up to win games.
"It's not just solely about my situation. I want to win, too," Brown told reporters Wednesday, per ESPN. "I think if we're really focused on winning and doing our job, we can't just keep slapping a Band-Aid over the defense doing their job and getting us out of trouble. At what point are we going to pick up our slack as an offense?"

It will be fascinating to see if Brown's involvement with the offense changes after his meeting with Lurie this week.
Next up for the Eagles is a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Lions.
