A truly wild football game between Kansas State and Baylor featured a particularly nasty hit - not on a player, but on a reporter.
ESPN's Tori Petry was working the sideline of the game watching Kansas State quarterback Avery Johnson run up the weak side and out of bounds. What Petry didn't see was Baylor linebacker Kyland Reed hitting Johnson out of bounds, continuing Johnson's momentum - and crashing into her.
Video shows Petry getting leveled as Johnson is unable to stop or change course before his right arm levels her. Johnson would throw a touchdown pass on the very next play.
The game itself saw eight different lead changes but ultimately ended in Baylor winning 35-34.
Baylor QB Sawyer Robertson led the way with 345 passing yards and two touchdowns while running backs Bryson Washington and Michael Turner combined for over 100 yards and a touchdown on just 16 carries. Wide receiver Michael Trigg was the real star with eight receptions for 155 yards.
With the win, Baylor rise to 4-2 on the season.
As for Kansas State, they fell to 2-4 on the season.
