The Atlanta Falcons have over two months to evaluate their roster before the NFL's 53-man roster deadline, but there are a few positions worth keeping an eye on over the next few weeks. While quarterback Kirk Cousins is still on the roster at the moment, the team will likely look to trade him before the season starts.
However, if they can't find any takers, there's a decent chance that the Falcons will end up keeping Cousins to back up Michael Penix Jr . at quarterback this season. It wouldn't be an ideal situation, but Cousins' options are limited now that Aaron Rodgers has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers .
