Former Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Evan Engram has already found a new home.
According to Engram's agent, Mike McCartney of VaynerSports, Engram will sign a two-year deal with the Denver Broncos . NFL Media's Tom Pelissero reported that Engram's deal is for $23 million over two years including $16.5 million guaranteed at signing.
The deal was announced moments after the new league year began at 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
Engram was officially released by the franchise on Friday, March 7 with a failed physical designation. Engram sustained a shoulder injury that required surgery at the end of the season last year. He missed the final four games of the year due to the ailment.

Engram spent three seasons with Jacksonville after joining the franchise on a one-year, prove-it deal during free agency in 2022. Engram promptly re-upped his deal with the team a year later on a three-year, $41.25 million contract. He was entering the final season of the deal in 2025.
Engram set multiple tight-end franchise records with the team and went to his second Pro Bowl in 2023 after catching 114 passes (franchise record) for 963 yards (franchise record) and four touchdowns. He replaced Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce that year.
Engram was the first Jaguars tight end since Marcedes Lewis to make the Pro Bowl (2010).
Last season, Egnram dealt with a lingering hamstring injury sustained during warmups in Week 2. As a result, Engram missed five games before returning against the Chicago Bears in Week 6.
He finished the year with just 47 catches for 365 yards and a touchdown.
With Jacksonville, Engram caught 234 passes for 2,094 yards and nine touchdowns. He spent five seasons to begin his career with the New York Giants .
In his career, Engram has caught 496 passes for 4,922 yards and 25 touchdowns.
The Jaguars signed two tight ends — Hunter Long and Johnny Mundt — in part to replace the void left by Engram and Luke Farrell's departures.
