Four Ducks named in ESPN's new Top 100 NFL Draft prospects list

Oregon defensive lineman Derrick Harmon celebrates a sack as the No. 1 Oregon Ducks host the Washington Huskies Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, Ore.

The NFL Draft is just a few days away, and following the trends of the recent past, a slew of Oregon Ducks are expected to be selected over the course of the weekend. The Ducks have one or two prospects that could go as high as the first round, and a long line of players set to be picked later on.

On Sunday, Jeff Legwold, a Denver Broncos and NFL Draft reporter for ESPN, published his Top 100 prospects list heading into the 2025 Draft, and four Oregon Ducks made the cut. If the draft follows Legwold's rankings, all four of those players will be selected in the first three rounds.

The highest-ranked players on Legwold's list are DT Derrick Harmon and OT Josh Conerly. Ranked at 16 and 40, respectively, Harmon and Conerly are Oregon's two legitimate first-round caliber players. Harmon played just one season at Oregon after three years at Michigan State, but he had his best campaign by far in the Green and Yellow last fall, racking up 45 tackles, 11 TFLs, five sacks, a pair of fumbles forced, and a pair recovered. Conerly played all three of his college years at Oregon, allowing just two sacks in nearly 2,000 offensive snaps.

Further down the list is Harmon's fellow defensive lineman, DE Jordan Burch — ranked 75th. Another transfer, Burch played two seasons at Oregon after three with South Carolina, accumulating 65 tackles, 19 TFLs, 11.5 sacks, a fumble forced, and a fumble recovered.

The last Ducks included — and barely making the list — is four-year Ducks TE Terrance Ferguson at 94. Ferguson is an incredibly talented pass-catcher, but he's entering a tight end-heavy draft, which could hurt his draft position. In his four years, Ferguson caught 134 passes for 1,537 yards and 16 TDs.

All four of the Ducks on Legwold's list have the chance to be serious contributors for whichever franchise selects them this week, and they aren't the only Oregon products with that chance in 2025. Players like Jordan James , Tez Johnson , and several others are brimming with talent, and their opportunity to prove it is moments away.
