Georgia Bulldogs linebacker Smael Mondon posted some impressive numbers at the 2025 NFL combine . Mondon ran a 4.58 second 40-yard dash, which ranks ninth-best among linebackers (tied).
Mondon's 40-yard dash time combined with strong performances across other athletic tests should help his 2025 NFL draft stock. Mondon posted the best broad jump of any linebacker with a 10-foot, 10-inch jump. Mondon finished second among all players in the broad jump on Day 1 on the combine.
Mondon did not participate in any other athletic tests on Day 1. He posted the top 10-yard split of any linebacker (tied) at 1.52 seconds.
Mondon's teammate, linebacker Jalon Walker , did not participate in any combine drills. The same goes for Georgia defensive lineman Mykel Williams , who is saving his athletic testing for Georgia's pro day in March.
Mondon along with defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins were Georgia's top performers on Day 1 of the combine's athletic tests.
