Tennessee football now knows its opponents for all 36 SEC games over the next four seasons under the league's new scheduling format.
On Sept. 23, the SEC released pairings for every conference game in the 2026-29 seasons during an hour-long primetime show on SEC Network.
Tennessee will play Alabama , Kentucky and Vanderbilt as annual SEC opponents . Its other six opponents will rotate each season. That means each school will play every SEC opponent home and away every four years.
It's part of the SEC's new nine-game conference schedule, which begins next season. Each SEC school must also schedule at least one nonconference opponent from the ACC, Big Ten, Big 12 or Notre Dame.
The SEC's annual opponent assignments will undergo evaluation after the initial four years of the nine-game SEC schedule and could be changed after that four-year period.
Here are Tennessee's SEC opponents for the next four seasons, as well as nonconference opponents already scheduled.
