A.J. Brown Grabs Attention With Pregame Shirt Heading Into Week 3

Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown arrived at Lincoln Financial Field with a message ahead of Sunday's 1 PM ET kickoff vs. the Rams.

As Philadelphia and Los Angeles prepare to face off for the first time since last year's divisional round playoff matchup in the snow, Brown strolled into his home stadium wearing a pregame shirt that quickly went viral among fans.

Brown has only recorded six receptions for 35 yards through the first two weeks of the season. And even though Philly is 2-0 going into Sunday's game, they really haven't done much in the way of throwing the ball.

Fellow wideout DeVonta Smith currently leads the team in receiving with seven catches for 69 yards and quarterback Jalen Hurts has yet to throw a passing touchdown (or a pick) over his first eight quarters.

Perhaps they'll be looking to change that this weekend. But either way, Brown wants fans to know to always check on their people.

A.J. Brown's t-shirt goes viral

When cameras caught the three-time Pro Bowler making his way into the locker room, Brown was spotted wearing a Philly green jersey with the message: "Check On Your Teammates."

It didn't take long for the NFL to pick up the heartwarming look on social media:

"I would like to know where I can buy one of these," Brendan Walker of NFL Films replied.

"A.J. Brown has got to be my favorite non-Steelers player out there right now," a Yinzer admitted. "He stays advocating for mental health awareness."

"W message A.J.," a fan commented.

"He’s always open 🙏🏽" another person posted.

"Easy to put on a shirt, but does he actually follow through?" another user asked.

"The aura I’m shaking," a fan said.

Brown looking to get on 'same page' with offense this week

With all the noise surrounding his lack of statistical production to start the year, Brown was asked about his lack of catches and targets thus far in 2025. And while he'd obviously like that to change his focus is more so on the positive right now.

“I mean, obviously, there's things that we can be better at, just being on the same page,” he explained , (via NBC Sports Philadelphia). “I don't want to give you guys a story late in the week going into the game. But yeah, just honestly, just being on the same page and just playing fast and communicating.”

“I'm always optimistic,” Brown added. “We're working hard trying to get this thing rolling and put our best foot forward.”

The Eagles putting their best foot forward would be moving to 3-0 on the season in their Super Bowl title defense — something that could be tough against a strong Rams squad that's coming off two straight wins over the AFC South.
