The Jacksonville Jaguars made the first splash of the 2025 NFL Draft. And it'll likely be the biggest.

They made a trade acquiring the No. 2 pick from the Cleveland Browns and selected two-way star Travis Hunter with their first-round pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Hunter said he has not had any contact with the Jaguars since the NFL Combine as the team did not elect to host Top-30, in-house visits under their new leadership.

The Jaguars gave up a first-round pick (No. 5), second-round pick (No. 36), fourth-round pick (No. 126) and their 2026 first-round pick.

Still, he said he doesn't feel pressure coming in.

"There's not pressure for me," he said via zoom on Thursday. "I just have to go do my job, be Travis Hunter."

The ESPN broadcast said he was the first player in the draft era to be to be announced as receiver and defensive back.

"They put me on the phone with both coordinators," Hunter said from the draft stage in Green Bay. "I'm just going to go out there and do what I can do."

Hunter doubled-down on his position on the zoom with media. He was asked if he had any reservations about playing both ways since the NFL is a much faster game.

"It's a faster game but you get a lot more breaks," he said.
