How does Navy S Rayuan Lane III fit with the Jaguars?
Lane is likely to play as a backup safety early with Jacksonville, potentially replacing Daniel Thomas, who is entering the final year of his two-year deal he signed with the franchise ahead of the 2024 season.
Lane will likely play on special teams with Jacksonville and could eventually take a core-four spot from someone.
"You've got a special-teams warrior," Lane said on Glenn Clark Radio on April 14 via PressBoxOnline . "You've seen it all throughout college, starting on special teams all four years while starting on defense. Just the hunger and love for football, no job too small. Going out there, just trying to put my best foot forward, trying to do whatever I can to help the team out."
