Kenyon Sadiq discusses injury ahead of Wisconsin Badgers game

You probably haven’t watched an Oregon Ducks game this year if you haven’t heard the name Kenyon Sadiq. The five-star tight end is in his third year with the Ducks and has announcers marveling over his abilities almost every game.

Sadiq has recorded 305 yards and five touchdowns so far this season and is widely expected to be one of the first tight ends off the board whenever he declares for the NFL Draft. Not only does he have unquantifiable potential as a pass catcher, but he is also considered the best blocker in the nation at his position.

There haven’t been many low points for Sadiq this season, but Ducks fans got a bit of a scare on Saturday against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights when he appeared to be shaken up. However, there is no need to worry because Sadiq gave a personal injury update and told reporters, “Yeah, I’m good for sure. It didn’t feel too good on the landing, but I’m good.”

It would have been disappointing if Sadiq’s career year was interrupted by a freak injury, so thankfully, he’s alright. If his blocking tells you anything, it’s that Sadiq is tough as nails, and there isn’t much that can keep him off the football field.
