Liga MX wraps up A2025 regular season with a triple Golden Boot winner!
The Apertura 2025 Tournament concluded with an exciting tie at the top of the scoring table. With 12 goals each, Paulinho from Toluca, João Pedro Galvão from Atlético de San Luis, and Armando González from Chivas were declared the top scorers of the Liga MX regular season.
"Hormiga" González's achievement is noteworthy, as he ended a streak for Guadalajara by becoming the first rojiblanco forward to earn this recognition since Alan Pulido in the Apertura 2019.
Meanwhile, Paulinho cemented his name in Liga MX history by achieving the scoring championship three times (Apertura 2024, Clausura 2025, and Apertura 2025). With his third title, he matches the record of Christian "Chucho" Benítez, who achieved it with América between 2012 and 2013.

Finally, João Pedro stood out for his goal-scoring instinct in Mexico . The forward, with dual Italian-Brazilian nationality, was key for the Potosino team in the tournament and is solidified as one of the most effective transfers of the year.
