- How Alabama football handled spring transfer portal window: What to know
The NCAA transfer portal is a window of unknowns for Alabama football coach Kalen DeBoer and his staff, a time of year that proves to be unpredictable.
"You never know this time of year," DeBoer said. "We felt last year we didn't really lose anyone at this time that we felt we were going to have going into the fall. Definitely don't want to say keeping our fingers crossed, but that's the case here with the portal."
During the 10-day portal window, though, DeBoer and Alabama saw consistency. The Crimson Tide did not lose a scholarship player, while the program gained two portal players to strengthen its tight end room.
Here's a look at what went down during Alabama 's spring transfer portal period.
