Members of UNC's 2025 basketball recruiting class arrive on campus
The upcoming college basketball season is a very important one for UNC, which welcomes another solid high school recruiting class to Chapel Hill.
North Carolina added the first two pieces of its 2025 recruiting class in November, when 4-star combo guards Isaiah Denis and Derek Dixon officially signed . Two months later, the Tar Heels added Top-10 recruit Caleb Wilson , an athletic power forward who should start from Day One.
Fans won't get to watch Denis, Dixon and Wilson in live game action until October 24, when UNC travels to BYU for a high-stakes exhibition tilt.
On Tuesday afternoon, though, North Carolina moved a step closer towards seeing its 2025 signees in action. Denis, Dixon and Wilson all arrived on campus.
I imagine that once Denis, Dixon and Wilson get all moved into campus, if they aren't already, a trip to the Dean Dome is soon in store. Hubert Davis spent countless hours recruiting this offseason – and he wants to see how his newest Tar Heels fit in Chapel Hill.
Despite a majority of its upcoming roster shaped by transfers and incoming high school recruits, UNC will have a deep roster this coming season.
Seth Trimble will take on a captain role while likely starting at shooting guard. Henri Veesaar and Jarin Stevenson give North Carolina much-needed height in the post, with Veesaar the projected starting center and Stevenson a possible starter, too. Kyan Evans likely slots into the starting point guard role, while international wing Luke Bogavac gives the Tar Heels an experienced option at small forward.
