- Missouri football offense depth chart projection: What competition looks like in fall camp

Racing
Missouri football offensive coordinator Kirby Moore's group looks a little different from a year ago.
The Tigers are replacing eight of their starters from last year's offense, including first-round right tackle Armand Membou , second-round wide receiver Luther Burden III and three-year starting quarterback Brady Cook .
Mizzou players will report for preseason camp Sunday, July 27, and the team will hold its first practice Monday. When the Tigers put on the pads for the first time this fall, their first game of the 2025 season, which is set for Thursday, Aug. 28 against Central Arkansas on Faurot Field, will be just one month away.
The wait is just about over.
There's a lot to settle before then the FCS-level Bears come to Columbia, most notably at quarterback and left tackle. But, there will be some jostling for reps as competitions are ongoing across the roster.
Before fall camp begins, here's how we currently see the makeup of Mizzou's depth chart on offense.
Every scholarship player is included along with their listed year, all first-year transfers have been marked with an asterisk (*) and, of course, this is just a projection and liable to change throughout the fall:
Starting contenders:Beau Pribula, gr.*; Sam Horn, r-jr.
Reserves:Matt Zollers, fr.; Tommy Lock, gr.; Kameron Eleby, fr.
More: Missouri football will have a quarterback competition again. Here's who could win job
It's Pribula vs. Horn in the race to succeed Cook as Missouri football's starting quarterback.
Pribula, a Penn State transfer, is seemingly the most stylistically similar to Cook, with a proven track record as a runner. The primary question for Pribula, who was an oft-used wrinkle with the Nittany Lions, is his ability as a passer and readiness to run the full offense.
Horn has the benefit of being around in MU's system for three full years. The dual-sport, football-and-baseball athlete was a 17th Round pick by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the MLB Draft this summer, but will compete for the Mizzou football team this fall. He has well-documented arm talent, and the level of his development at MU will determine if he can lead the offense as QB1 this fall.
Mizzou has not set a timeline for naming a starter.
Zollers, a true freshman out of Pennsylvania, is the third-string quarterback. Word out of spring and summer indicated there is reason for optimism about Zollers, but coming off a senior-season leg injury, he will be more of a project and an emergency option this season.
Starters:Ahmad Hardy, so.*
Primary rotation:Jamal Roberts, jr.; Marquise Davis, fr.
Reserves:Tavorus Jones, r-jr.; Brendon Haygood, fr.; Anthony Favrow, sr.

Hardy is expected to see the most carries in this room, after a freshman All-American campaign at ULM in 2024. How much of the workload he will shoulder is to-be-determined, but all expectations are that he will be the primary ball-carrier.
Roberts is the next player up, especially in short-yardage situations as a change-of-pace, third-down back. Davis appears to have impressed enough since arriving as an early enrollee to work his way onto the depth chart.
Starters:Kevin Coleman Jr., sr.*; Marquis Johnson , jr.; Joshua Manning, jr.
Primary rotation:Daniel Blood, jr.; Donovan Olugbode, fr.; James Madison II, r-fr.
Reserves:Xavier Loyd, gr.*; Shaun Terry II, fr.; DaMarion Fowlkes, fr.
More: Moving on from Burden, Wease, where do Missouri football's wide receivers stand in 2025?
Reps are still up for grabs at wide receiver, where the competition after the top three is open.
Coleman, Johnson and Manning, almost certainly will be the Tigers' starters and primary pass-catchers this season. Coleman will operate out of the slot, taking over from Luther Burden III. Manning and Johnson will be the Theo Wease Jr. and Mookie Cooper replacements.
Plaudits for Olugbode, a rookie, have come thick and fast all offseason long, and he may be the freshman with the best chance of burning a redshirt this year.
Loyd, an Illinois State transfer this spring, also will factor into the competition for reps alongside returners Madison and Blood.
There's no set limit for how deep the Tigers will go down the depth chart, but there's only one ball to go around. We'd expect five or six players to earn consistent reps and significant targets.
Starter:Brett Norfleet, jr.
Rotation/backups:Jordon Harris, jr. Gavin Hoffman, r-fr.*, Vince Brown II, r-sr.*
Reserves:Jude James, r-fr.; Dakotah Terrell, fr.; Adam Molitor, so.
More: Can Missouri football get its tight ends more involved in 2025? Continuity, depth should help
Mizzou has options at tight end this season.
Norfleet is the clear No. 1 option. Even after an injury-marred and somewhat-underwhelming sophomore year, the 6-foot-6, 263-pound O'Fallon product is MU's most athletic and top pass-catching tight end.
Harris looked strong as a blocker and developed some in the passing game last season, so he likely will see playing time, too.
Hoffman (Iowa) and Brown (Colorado State) both seemingly give Mizzou good options as pass-catchers, and could see action on special teams units, too.
Starters: LT:Jayven Richardson, r-jr.; LG:Cayden Green, jr.; C:Connor Tollison, gr.; RG:Dominick Giudice, gr.*; RT:Keagan Trost, gr.*
Backups: LT:Johnny Williams IV, r-so.*; LG:Henry Fenuku, fr.; C:Tristan Wilson, r-jr.; RG:Logan Reichert, r-so.; RT:Jaylen Early, r-sr.*
Reserves:Curtis Peagler, r-jr.; Brandon Solis, r-so.; Ryan Jostes, r-fr.; Whit Hafer, r-fr.; Jack Lange, fr.; Keiton Jones, fr.; Henry McDermott, sr.
More: Two of Missouri football's most important position battles occurring along offensive line
Left tackle is the major question mark along Missouri's offensive line. It's not quite time for the doomsday button, but the fact that there isn't a clear frontrunner at one of the most important positions of the offense is concerning.
The competition appears to be between Richardson and Williams (West Virginia), but it wouldn't be a surprise to see the likes of Reichert and Early (Florida State) factor into the battle. For now, it's a two-horse race, and there is time for someone to step up and fill the vital starting role.
Trost (Wake Forest) won the starting job at right tackle in the spring. Giudice (Michigan) appears to be the frontrunner to win the job at right guard, although there likely will be a little competition at the beginning of camp.
The interior of the line gets two major returners in Green at left guard and Tollison at center. Both players are likely to draw significant NFL Draft discussion after this season.
Starter:Blake Craig, r-so.
Backup:Robert Meyer, fr.
More: What to expect from Missouri football's special teams, where numbers are smaller, in 2025
Craig is back for his second season as the Tigers' kicker. He'll also likely handle kickoff duties.
Mizzou did not add any competition out of the transfer portal at kicker, which was somewhat of a surprise after Craig struggled from 40-49 yards last season. The Kansas City product did have an excellent end to his first season as the starter, and the Tigers are putting their faith in him.
