Minnesota Twins calling up Travis Adams (again) for MLB debut
The first pitch of Saturday’s game will be Adams’ first in the big leagues, but it’s not his first call-up. That came at the start of last month . His initial promotion, however, did not end in a debut. Instead, Adams was sent back down to triple A without ever seeing the MLB mound.
Travis Adams throws a mid-90s fastball , along with a cutter, sinker, slider and changeup. He’ll even sprinkle in a curveball too. With the Saints this season, the Sacramento State alum holds a 3.68 ERA and 1.23 WHIP in 63.2 innings pitched.
