Oregon Ducks cornerback Jahlil Florence to enter transfer portal
The Oregon Ducks suffered a loss to the transfer portal, it was announced on Sunday night.
According to On3's Hayes Fawcett, cornerback Jahlil Florence will be entering the transfer portal and ending his time with the Oregon Ducks . Florence is a redshirt junior who came to Oregon as a member of the 2022 class, Dan Lanning's first with the Ducks. He played in eight games as a freshman, then was a starter in 2023 alongside Khyree Jackson. However, an injury forced him to miss the 2024 season.
Florence totaled 35 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 FF, & 2 INT in his time with the Ducks
Florence returned for another year in 2025, but was surpassed on the depth chart by a pair of freshmen, Ify Obidegwu and Brandon Finney Jr. Florence played in just two games this season. Assuming that he gets a medical redshirt for his 2024 injury-lost season, Florence will be able to utilize his redshirt in 2025, giving him another two years of eligibility wherever he ends up transferring to.
