Pro Football Focus named the biggest weaknesses for all 32 starting quarterbacks heading into the 2025 regular season — and their take on Pittsburgh Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers is arguably the least surprising.
On Thursday, PFF labeled Rodgers' biggest red flag as — you guessed it — his age, even admitting the redundancy of listing his 41 years of age as a weakness two years in a row.
"This could be just a copy and paste from our 2024 iteration. Rodgers will turn 42 years old this season, and he is adapting to a new coaching staff and new weapons," PFF's John Kosko wrote. "He still has the arm talent, but everything just looked harder for him a year ago. His mobility isn't where it used to be, when it was a weapon in the prime of his career. It is still possible for Rodgers to have a Tom Brady -esque end of his career, but the odds are stacked against him."
If there was ever a time a quarterback could replicate Brady's return to glory with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers , it would be Rodgers with the super-loaded Pittsburgh Steelers roster — seemingly geared towards a deep playoff run in 2025.
Steelers legend Ben Roethlisberger saw Rodgers throw in practice two weeks ago — admitting he was so impressed, he would have to readjust his original regular season win-loss prediction.
