The Pittsburgh Steelers made huge waves around the NFL on Monday, trading All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick to the Miami Dolphins for All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey and Pro Bowl tight end Jonnu Smith .
The move was a bolt from the blue for a franchise that has traditionally built from the draft, with the trade already one of the largest in terms of return in team history.
But does that mean the Steelers and Omar Khan are really all-in on the 2025 season? After all, they have not pushed any cap money to future seasons this year and they've acquired, not traded away future draft picks this offseason.
Alan Saunders joined Chris Carter on the Locked On Steelers Podcast to discuss the trade and what it means about the Steelers outlook in 2025 and beyond.
