The Wizard of Boz strikes again — or, kicks again — as his massive leg paved the way for a Pittsburgh Steelers ' Week 1 victory over the New York Jets .
Trailing the Jets 32-31 with a little over three minutes remaining, the Aaron Rodgers-led Steelers offense charged down the field and was stopped at the New York 42-yard line, setting up Boswell for a 60-yard field goal attempt — which he had zero trouble making. Up to this point, Boswell's career long was 59 yards — making the Steelers' victory over the Jets even sweeter for one of the NFL's greatest kickers of all time.
Before his 60-yard field goal to start the Pittsburgh Steelers ' 2025 regular season, here are all of Boswell's longest kicks by season since 2015: 51 (2015), 49 (2016), 53 (2017), 50 (2018), 51 (2019), 59 (2020), 56 (2021), 59 (2022), 57 (2023), 57 (2024).
Following the Steelers' 34-32 victory over the Jets, Pittsburgh will host the Seattle Seahawks in Week 2 at Acrisure Stadium — an exciting matchup taking place on Sunday, September 14 at 1:00 p.m. ET.
