Where did Texas A&M's 3 defensive linemen land in ESPN's final NFL mock draft?

The 2025 NFL Draft is just two days away, af the first round is set to bring plenty of drama and excitement for all 32 NFL teams, and for Texas A&M head coach Mike Elko , he'll more than likely see three of his starting defensive lineman from the 2024 season hear their names called in the first two days.

Shemar Stewart , Nic Scourton , and Shemar Turner declared for the Draft three months ago. While Texas A&M's defense struggled during the latter half of the season, all three defensive linemen were widely considered high draft picks due to their natural skill sets, which scouts usually take into account much more than overall stats.

On the field, all three flashed at various moments throughout the season. Still, from an athletic standpoint, former five-star Florida native Shemar Stewart was the star of the NFL Combine in early March, wowing every scout in attendance and cementing himself as a mid to low first-round draft pick.

Scourton, who left Purdue after recording ten sacks before playing for the Aggies last season, dropped over 30 pounds, looking faster and more fluid as a runner, which likely helped his draft position as well. Lastly, Shemar Turner, who was healing from offseason surgery, did not participate in the combine, but is still considered a top 100 player on the board, and likely won't go past the 3rd round on Friday night.

For the final time before the draft, ESPN NFL Draft expert Jordan Reid released his mock draft, consisting of all 257 selections. Reid said this is where all three Aggies landed in his final mock.

  • Round 1: Green Bay Packers select Texas A&M Edge Shemar Stewart with the 23rd overall selection

  • Round 2: Baltimore Ravens select Texas A&M Edge Nic Scourton with the 59th overall selection

  • Round 3: Dallas Cowboys select Texas A&M DT Shemar Turner with the 76th overall selection

Green Bay 's selection of Shemar Stewart a year after former Texas A&M linebacker Edgerren Cooper is a no-brainer. The Packers are big fans of defensive players who possess elite traits but are projects during their first NFL season.

As Reid noted, Scourton's physicality, run-stopping, and versatility would be a perfect fit for the Ravens. At the same time, the Cowboys' interior defensive line issues and overall lack of size inside would make Shemar Turner another safe pick.

The 2025 NFL Draft is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. CT. on Thursday, April 24.
