Where is Texas Tech football ranked in national polls after dismantling UCF, Alabama loss?

Another dominant victory, and some shuffling at the top polls, has Texas Tech football moving up the national rankings once again.

The Red Raiders (10-1, 7-1) come in at No. 7 in this week's US LBM Coaches Poll , released Sunday. Texas Tech cruised to a 48-9 win over UCF on Saturday to close a 7-0 regular season at home as it heads to an open date before closing the regular season at West Virginia.

Alabama's loss to Oklahoma caused a bit of movement within the Top 10. The Crimson Tide fell from fourth to 10th — which allowed the likes of Georgia (which handled Texas), Oregon, Ole Miss , Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Notre Dame to each move up a spot in the poll.

BYU comes in at No. 11, Utah No. 14 and Houston No. 24 to round things out for the Big 12 Conference.

In the Associated Press Top 25, Texas Tech and Oregon are tied for 6th in the nation. BYU is 11th, Utah 13th and Houston 25th.
