BATON ROUGE — LSU women's basketball looks to respond after dropping its last game at No. 20 Alabama in overtime.
The No. 7 Tigers couldn't get over the hump in Tuscaloosa, playing from behind most of the game Thursday night before working their way back to force overtime. But LSU fell short of the Tide, 88-85 , for its third loss on the season.
LSU (27-3, 12-3 SEC) has followed each of its first two defeats on the season with wins and Kim Mulkey's team will look to do it again, this time hosting Ole Miss (18-9, 9-6) for the regular season finale Sunday afternoon.
The Rebels lost to No. 6 South Carolina, 75-59, at home Thursday.
