Lyra Valkyria is one of the recent success stories of WWE's development system and NXT. The Irish talent was one of the brand's biggest in 2022 and 2023, and it's why she was promoted to the main roster last year. Valkyria was a dominant champion in NXT, but she has had mixed results on the main roster as she tried to get her footing with a more mainstream audience. She had a solid run as the company's first IC champion, and it led to an unexpected feud with friend Becky Lynch in the spring.
That is when Valkyria really started to shine on WWE Raw. Playing off of a recently turned Lynch, the NXT product was able to show more of an aggressive side, as well as improved microphone skills that proved she can hold her own with a division legend.
