Philadelphia Eagles fans saw their team take a 10-0 lead at Northwest Stadium on Sunday night, then watched the Washington Commanders score the next 27 points. Tanner McKee was sacked five times, Saquon Barkley averaged 2.3 yards per carry and Washington kicker Drew Stevens made four field goals in a 27-10 Commanders win that dropped Philadelphia to 2-6. It was the Eagles' sixth straight loss, and it only adds to the heat on Nick Sirianni . Philadelphia held the ball for 33:31, more than seven minutes longer than Washington, and still couldn't find the end zone again. Here are five takeaways from the loss.
Every drive after 10-0 came up empty
Barkley's 3-yard touchdown run with 4:27 left in the first quarter was the last time Philadelphia scored. The Eagles' next nine possessions produced four punts, a lost fumble, a missed field goal, an interception and two drives that ran out the clock.
Three straight second-half drives ended without points. McKee lost a fumble to Charles Omenihu, Jake Elliott missed at the end of a 15-play, 57-yard march that ate 7:35 and Rasul Douglas intercepted McKee and returned it 22 yards to set up Rachaad White's 1-yard touchdown.
Five different Commanders got to Tanner McKee

McKee went down five times for 35 yards, and each sack came from a different defender: Dorance Armstrong, Shy Tuttle, K'Lavon Chaisson, Omenihu and Odafe Oweh. He finished 23 of 34 for 212 yards with a 72.2 passer rating.
The right side of the line graded worst, according to PFF. Right guard Tyler Steen posted a 55.9 pass-blocking grade and right tackle Markel Bell finished at 57.1 overall. Jordan Mailata, who has refused to make excuses for this season, led the offense at 77.2.
Saquon Barkley had almost no room to work
Barkley carried 13 times for 30 yards, and Elijah Mitchell added 34 yards on 11 attempts. That's 64 yards on 24 handoffs, an average of 2.7 per carry, for a back we named one of two stars Philadelphia shouldn't trade . Barkley's longest gain of the night came on a 24-yard catch. Mailata's 83.1 run-blocking grade, according to PFF, didn't show up in the box score.
Drew Stevens outscored the Eagles by himself
Stevens missed his first attempt, then made kicks from 56, 39, 25 and 42 yards for 12 points, two more than Philadelphia scored all night. His 56-yarder with 28 seconds left in the first quarter got Washington on the board, and his 39-yarder with 19 seconds left in the half put the Commanders ahead for good. Elliott went 1 for 2 on the other side.
Treylon Burks found the soft spots in coverage

Burks caught only three passes, but they went for 81 yards, including a 53-yarder. Quinyon Mitchell allowed three catches for 65 yards, with that 53-yard long, and graded 52.4, according to PFF. Kenny Moore II gave up the lone touchdown pass, Jayden Daniels' 8-yarder to Stefon Diggs, and allowed a 158.3 passer rating.
The pass rush offered little cover. Jalen Carter and Nolan Smith Jr. had the only sacks among nine pressures, and Jonathan Greenard went without a pressure on 18 pass-rush snaps, another chapter in the Eagles' defensive struggles .
