GREEN BAY – The Green Bay Packers officially revealed their initial 53-man roster heading into Week 1.

There are 16 players on the 2026 roster who didn't appear on it at any time last year.

Here's a look at the players making their first appearance on the Packers roster:

Jager Burton

The ex-Kentucky offensive lineman was drafted by the Packers in the fifth round of this year's draft.

After a solid training camp and preseason, Burton showcased versatility at guard and center and has the chance to get some snaps this season as a rookie.

Anthony Campbell

Considered a long-shot to make the roster, Campbell's camp was so productive the Packers put the ex-University of Miami defensive tackle on the 53.

Campbell played a total of 56 snaps for the Hurricanes in 2023 and 2024 and had just one tackle his senior year.

He went undrafted in 2025, but joined the Seattle Seahawks practice squad.

Campbell was the darling of Packers' camp this year, having an impressive mix of run defense and pass rush, plus showing a knack for batting down quarterback passes.

He had four tackles and two sacks in the preseason.

One of the standouts of camp, the rookie cornerback out of South Carolina looks like a lock as a starter.

The second-round draft pick had a productive camp and preseason, with a pass defended and also had an impressive touchdown-saving tackle in the red zone during the preseason game against the Steelers .

Dani Dennis-Sutton

A fourth-round draft pick, Dennis-Sutton played four years at Penn State, where he recorded 127 total tackles (78 solo), 23.5 sacks, eight passes defended, seven forced fumbles and two interceptions. His sack total ranks sixth all-time in school history.

Dennis-Sutton missed some time in camp due to an overheating episode, but closed preseason on a high note with two tackles and a sack.

Zaire Franklin

The veteran linebacker has brought a level of edge and leadership that's already making an impact on the defense in a short amount of time.

Franklin, an eighth-year player who spent his entire career with the Indianapolis Colts , played sparingly like many starters in preseason, and recorded three total tackles.

Javon Hargrave

The veteran defensive tackle missed time in camp due to injuries, but started participating in team drills down the stretch.

Hargrave, preparing for his 11th NFL season, is a two-time Pro Bowler with 432 total tackles (233 solo), 49 sacks and eight passes defended for his career.

The move to the Packers reunites him with defensive coordinator Jonathan Gannon, who held the same role with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021 and '22. Hargrave played some of the best football of his career under Gannon's defense, with 18.5 sacks and 123 tackles in two seasons, earning one of his two Pro Bowl honors and an appearance in the Super Bowl.

Kaleb Johnson

The Packers traded for the ex- Pittsburgh Steelers running back, giving up a 2028 sixth-round draft pick.

Johnson was taken in the 2025 NFL Draft as a third-round pick after a breakout junior season at Iowa, rushing for 1,537 yards and 21 touchdowns on 240 carries. He was selected Big Ten running back of the year and earned second-team All-American honors.

He appeared in 10 games last season for the Steelers, rushing for 69 yards on 28 carries and no touchdowns.

This preseason, he had 50 yards on 15 carries, averaging 3.3 yards per carry.

Chris McClellan

A rookie out of Missouri, the third-round draft pick flashed during camp and preseason.

One of his standout performances was against Denver when he recorded six total tackles, and three of those were run stuffs for 3 yards or fewer, including a tackle for loss. He's also showcased strong pass-rushing ability.

While the Packers are in a good place at defensive tackle, the rookie is expected to be in the mix for snaps.

Skyy Moore

The return specialist/wide receiver joined Green Bay after playing for the San Francisco 49ers in 2025.

Brought in to revive the Packers' return game, Moore ranked sixth in the NFL in 2025 on kickoff returns with a 27.5-yard average on 33 returns, and he ranked seventh on punt returns with an 11.6-yard average on 25 returns.

Before playing last season for the 49ers, Moore was a 2022 second-round draft pick who won two Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs .

Mark Redman

The second tight end added by the Packers over the weekend, Green Bay traded a 2028 seventh-round draft pick to the Los Angeles Rams for Redman .

Redman, who played college football at Louisville, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft and signed with the Rams as an undrafted free agent. He spent last season on the team's practice squad.

Redman, who will primarily be used as a blocking tight end, caught six passes for 63 yards in three preseason games.

Trey Smack

The rookie kicker from Florida put the team on a rollercoaster ride this offseason.

The sixth-round draft pick was inconsistent in practice, but could do no wrong in preseason. He went 16-of-16 on his attempted kicks, going 9-for-9 on field goals and 7-for-7 on extra points. He also made three kicks longer than 50 yards, including a 59-yarder in Denver and two for 58 yards in Pittsburgh (one didn't count due to a penalty).

Jonnu Smith

The Packers added the veteran tight end on Aug. 29 to help the tight end room.

This is Smith's sixth NFL team going into his 10th season.

He has 3,529 receiving yards and 30 touchdowns for his career.

Benjamin St-Juste

A sixth-year cornerback the Packers signed for depth and experience, the 2021 draft pick played four seasons with the Washington Commanders and last season with the Los Angeles Chargers before joining Green Bay this offseason.

He recorded a tackle and one pass defended in the preseason finale.

J. Michael Sturdivant

After a dazzling performance in the Packers' preseason finale, Sturdivant kept the Packers' undrafted free agent streak alive by cracking the roster.

The one-time University of Florida receiver caught six passes for 112 yards and one touchdown in the Packers' preseason win over the Arizona Cardinals .

Tyrod Taylor

This is the eighth NFL team in 16 seasons for the 37-year-old quarterback. Taylor played for the New York Jets the past two seasons.

Taylor has appeared in 100 games over his career with 62 starts. He has a record of 29-31-1 as a starter.

He has a 61.8% career completion percentage with 13,033 passing yards, 73 touchdowns and 34 interceptions, as well as 2,424 rushing yards and 20 touchdowns.

John Williams

Drafted by the Packers in the seventh round of the 2025 draft, Williams opened last season on the physically-unable-to-perform list and was never able to have a fully healthy rookie season.

He spent most of camp playing backup left tackle behind Jordan Morgan .
