The UCI has finalized and announced the 10-round calendar for the 2027 WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series, bringing the action to eight countries across two continents and featuring six exciting weekends that combine Gravity and Endurance events in triple-header format, now broadcast by EMEA Sports at Skydance.
Chris Ball, Vice President of Cycling Events, EMEA Sports at Skydance (formerly WBD Sports), noted the schedule's balance of heritage tracks and newer additions: "We've created a calendar that combines world-class venues, passionate fan bases and the highest level of competition in the discipline from the opening round to the season finales."
The fifth season of the revamped World Cup format begins in Europe and concludes with split North American finales. Cross-country (XCC/XCO) racing opens May 21 at the traditional proving ground of Nové Město na Moravě, Czechia. The downhill (DHI) campaign kicks off one week later on May 29 in Loudenvielle-Peyragudes, France.

Notable routing highlights for 2027 include a stop in Les Gets, France, which will serve as an early preview of the region's upcoming UCI Cycling World Championships, and the return of Val di Sole, Italy, after its 2026 absence from hosting the World Championships.
After a six-week summer break following the Andorra round, the series shifts across the Atlantic to conclude. The cross-country overall will be decided September 25-26 at Soldier Hollow in Midway, Utah. The downhill season will wrap up the following weekend, October 2-3, at Whistler Mountain Bike Park in British Columbia.
