Marshall Manning, the son of the former Colts and Broncos quarterback , was working with quarterback coach Reese Phillips. He's getting ready for his freshman season at Baylor School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Football fans were very impressed.

"Automatic six star. Maybe the best player ever," one fan joked.

"The kid's gonna be good. Hope he goes to the right college," another shared.

"Just watching this video, he’s already thrown more spirals than Peyton," one fan joked.

"He looks just like Peyton with those play action passes. Honesty, seeing this kid brings me a sense of nostalgia and comfort. Can't wait to see this young buck grow up and see what he does," another fan added.

It's early, but three schools are most linked to Marshall Manning

It's very early - Marshall Manning isn't even in high school yet - but the recruiting process waits for no one.

If Marshall Manning is going to commit early to a top school - again, unlikely, considering that Arch Manning took his time - three schools make the most sense for his recruitment.

The three schools that make the most sense for Arch Manning right now are:

  • Tennessee

  • Ole Miss

  • Texas

Marshall Manning has personal connections to all three schools.

Tennessee, of course, is where his dad played. It's also his hometown school at the moment. The Mannings lived in Colorado for a while but recently moved to Tennessee. The Vols will surely be recruiting Marshall Manning very hard.

Ole Miss, meanwhile, is where his grandfather - Archie - and his uncle - Peyton - played their college football. Peyton Manning bucked the trend, going with Tennessee, but there's still a lot of Ole Miss blood in the family.

Texas is probably a longshot, given that it's unlikely that Marshall Manning would want to follow in his cousin's footsteps. However, the Longhorns clearly have a family in and things have worked out well for Arch Manning.

Again, it's extremely early, but those are the three schools that make the most sense right now for Marshall Manning.
