Warner spoke after practice as camp winds down. He made his stance clear.
"We're all aware; we all have social media so we see things," he said, via Pro Football Talk. "But at the same time, I've got a lot of love, a lot of respect for Jed, and don't feel the need to comment on the situation."

Warner added that the team treated the case the same way.
"It really wasn't a conversation being had in the locker room," he said.

Kyle Shanahan echoed that message. He called the episode a personal matter. From a football standpoint, he said it had no effect on the team. Shanahan also said he spoke with York over the last two days.
York was arrested Sunday in East Palestine, Ohio. Police said he answered an undercover ad. He used the name "Joe" in fake name texts before arriving at a trailer park. He later pleaded no contest to disorderly conduct and possession of criminal tools.
A judge fined him $1,150 and gave him two days in jail. Credit for time served closed the criminal case in one day. The NFL now reviews the matter under its personal conduct policy.

Warner refused to pile on. He asked that the situation stay personal. Shanahan said the family matters to him and tried to keep comments limited. The coach also noted York has spent much of camp away from Santa Clara.
Shannon Sharpe took a different tone on his podcast. He argued York remains human and defended the owner after the sting. The 49ers themselves kept the focus on football.
Warner's words match Shanahan's earlier line that the arrest is "kind of irrelevant to our guys."
York filed for divorce earlier this year. He has lived more in Ohio lately. Those details sit outside the locker room, at least for now. The 49ers still have a final preseason game Thursday against the Raiders.
